The Southwest Division Spec Racer Ford Customer Service Rep. (CSR) was purchased from Speedstar by David Perkins in January of 2004 and Spec Racer Sports was born.    After 15 plus years of engineering and management, David seized the opportunity to obtain his own business.  David has raced and competed in many forms of racing including off-road, drag, motorcycle and road racing since his child hood.  In addition to a wealth of racing experience, the crew at SRS brings 30 plus years of combined machining, welding and fabrication experience to the shop every day.

The mission of SRS is to help fuel and support your addiction....the addiction of road racing!  We feel the way to accomplish this is by providing exceptional customer support, the parts and services you need when you need them, at a fair competitive price.  We want to help your hobby remain enjoyable, reliable and above all safe.

Spec Racer Sports currently stables 13 cars including some of the fastest nationally ranked drivers.  SRS offers two rental cars that are exceptionally prepared and fully equipped with Competition Data Systems (CDS) data acquisition systems.  SRS is also the trackside distributor for CDS http://www.competitiondata.com/ in the southwest.  A complete complement of technical Services are offered at very competitive rates.
