Brian Grigsby pilots his Spec Racer Sports prepared SRF to a podium finish at Road Altanta in the 25th Anniversary of the Spec Racer Ford event. Finishing 3rd place out of a 68 car field, Grigsby's Alpha Capital Management sponsored SRF performed flawlessly as he worked his way to the front of the pack during Race #1 of the double race weekend. Grigsby actually led Race #2 briefly on Sunday before a double yellow came out which closed the gap the leaders had established. A defective fuel pump late in the race erased Grigsby's chances of a second podium finish resulting in a respectable 7th place on Sunday.
